Short week- because of the BEST birthday party ever!

Last week was a short week to work out because of Meg's birthday party.  For this reason I tried to squeeze all I could into a 3 day workout.  I didn't make it to the pool.  I did however run 8 miles on a treadmill and I consider that a win.  (It helps that at vasa I can run downhill on the treadmill.)

Amber walked next to me, and that is always more enjoyable.

Also due to a BIG snowstorm I was able to get my long bike in Wednesday morning.  School was cancelled and I biked for two hours.  Then I shoveled snow for about an hour and 1/2 and I have to say that I thought that was comparable to swimming!

Unfortunately my days are blurry and I can't remember what I all did.

Thursday and Sunday were spent traveling to Meg's party.  My diet went out the window and the only part that helped was there wasn't junk food around.

We stayed at Talus Rock and it was amazing!  We kept commenting on how the weekend was out of a hallmark movie, and it truly was.

Friday we went snow shoeing and this was my only exercise for the whole weekend.  My right knee has been bothering me and I could feel it a lot when I snow shoe.  I keep praying it will make it two more years.

I have Chondromalacia patellae- often called runners knee.  Craig said biking is good for it and vitamins.  I've been taking the vitamins faithfully.

Today is Monday and I'm back to routine.  I had to take Tessa to the orthodontist today and watch my friends little girl so it has been hard to find the time to work out.  I keep thinking how next year I need to do nothing.  I'm also taking dinner to a family tonight and Thursday.  It's interesting on how such a little thing can add a lot of stress.

I'm doubling what we are having tonight and making it for them.  Then Millie has swim lessons until 6:30.  We get home at 6:45 and we've got to fit Come Follow Me in.  I've also got to bike.  I teach piano lessons on Monday's from 3:30-4:30.

So my goal tonight is to bike for 45 minutes, and go to bed.  Tomorrow I'm swimming at 5:30 with Sabrina.
