100 percent

My goal this week was to hit every workout.  Unfortunately I did not accomplish this, but came close to doing so.

Monday I biked and ran.  Nothing interesting.  I did it at home.

Tuesday was a big step in the right direction.  Sabrina cancelled due to shingles and I got myself out the door by myself to the swimming pool.  I then swam 1700 yards (which I didn't realize I had 1400 written down- so I did more than I needed to).  For the main workout.  It's really interesting looking at people though and you think you can beat them- well than they beat you.  You can never really tell.
My next big accomplishment was going to the gym.  Amber wasn't going to be there and I knew I needed to run 9 miles.  I was planning on watching the movie in the theatre.  Well I get to the gym and guess what is not working?  The movie theatre!

I also knew I needed to run fast because I only had an hour 1/2 to run the 9.  I made it to 8.11 because I had to take a bathroom break and I was a few minutes late getting started.  The last few miles though I did super fast!  (Well fast for what I've been running.)  I did 8:40.  I don't suggest this though because I definitely felt it the rest of the week.

Wed I worked out.  Thursday I had my long bike.  I biked for 3 hours!  I woke up at 5:45 and biked for an hour.  Drove the kids to school and got back on my bike.  I tested out the new gel cream for the underparts and it worked pretty nicely.  (I'm putting this in there- because some people have no idea this exists.  DZNuts Bliss Chamois Cream for Women.  $17.46 on Amazon) Amazon

Friday Charlie picked me up to go swimming.  I was supposed to run afterwards but couldn't bring myself to.  I was exhausted from not sleeping and having to get up and working out.  I could still feel my muscles sore from running.

Saturday I had it in my mind to finish everything I didn't get done for the week but I lacked motivation.  I slept in until 7 and then worked out for an hour and a half.  I even turned the bike to 90%  I didn't go swimming and I didn't do the run I needed to.  Hunter had two church basketball games so I went and watched those.  Jeremy went skiing and came home with Joseph sick, Tessa was already sick, and later that night Belle threw up.

I'm praying I don't get it.  Jeremy travels this week for two days.  My goal this week is to do the best I can and enjoy it.  Focus on the fact that I can do this.

Overall I'm happy with how things went this week.  I also ordered my jersey off of Amazon.  Check out Pearl iZUMI Tri Tank.  I decided on black because you always look slimmer.  $46.63)  it should be arriving tomorrow.
that I plan on wearing for the race.  I hope it turns out ok.
