Here's a picture of my kids. So I'm going to be training while keeping all of these kiddos fed, napped, homework done, teaching piano, laundry done, healthy, dressed (Which most of them do themselves hallelujah), meanwhile taxing them to their individual places. Thankfully one can drive, and two by the time I do the Iron Man. I'm cutting down on their elective opportunities. Don't feel bad they are still doing plenty!
If I learned anything from the half iron man I did with Sandra in Idaho, it is that I can do hard things. (So can you!) I was nursing Millie during our training and would wake up early in the morning and feed her and then go run. As I crossed the finish line I soon was nursing her while refueling from the race.
I plan on trying to include them in my training too.
